ReliaTel's STEPAR® Statistical Alarm Reporting

ReliaTel's STEPAR Alarm Reporting facility provides customizable reports of all ReliaTel managed device activity.

Analyzing the specific data from the ReliaTel detailed device activity logs, STEPAR generates pre-defined reports comparing all message and alarm statistics for each device and every action performed, including the time alarms occurred, who acknowledged alarms, alarm severity, alarm frequency, and much more.

STEPAR enables users to customize pre-defined Alarm Reports to fit specific business needs using a standard web browser. Through the STEPAR web-based interface, users can select reports for a given device or group of devices, specify the timeframe to be analyzed, customize the content and layout of the report, and immediately generate the requested text-based or graphical Alarm Report for viewing through the free Adobe .PDF reader. Reports can also be scheduled for automatic generation on a periodic basis, with optional delivery to specific e-mail destinations or printers. All reports generated are fully secured through the ReliaTel and STEPAR user permissions and security settings.

In addition to many device specific reports, standard STEPAR Alarm Reports include:

  • Detailed alarm report for a specific system or device, or a group of systems and devices
  • Alarm summary report for specific system or device, or a group of systems and devices
  • Minor, major, and critical alarms per site chart
  • Specific site alarm totals chart, grouped by severity
  • Alarm totals for all sites chart, grouped by severity
  • Major and minor weekly alarm totals chart, grouped by weeks
  • Weekly summary and averages of daily system or device performance
